Smoking Bouquet - the second painting in the bouquet series - is a representation of the transient beauty of life, truly meant to be short-lived as flowers are clipped from their roots. Smoke, ultimate transformer, constantly shifts and weaves though the air, dissipating over a short time.
Smoking Bouquet is meant to represent the impermanence of beauty and the inevitable power of time. I find myself fighting my own aging process and exploring what it means to grow old.
