White roses are rarely white. One of my favorite things about painting "colorless" subjects is that I can manipulate the palette how I see it in my mind. With the help of photoshop, I created my own hues atop the petals driving focus to where I want my viewers to look.

To me, color is often the most important part of a painting - with less focus on the subject.
